Pags and Sen. Marsha Blackburn on Cheatle Resignation

In a recent interview on "The Joe Pags Show," Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) joined Joe Pags to discuss the resignation of USSS Director Kim Cheatle, upcoming Senate hearings, and "The Kids Online Safety Act."

Blackburn began by expressing her strong opinion that Cheatle should have resigned immediately after the assassination attempt on former President Trump. She described the incident as a colossal failure, emphasizing that the Secret Service has one primary job: to protect the individual they are assigned to. Blackburn stressed that this failure is not akin to missing a quota but a fundamental breach of duty.

The conversation then turned to the Senate hearings scheduled for this week, where Blackburn outlined the critical questions that senators will be posing to the USSS. She highlighted that Jill Biden had greater security details than former President Trump and argued that all protectees, especially important figures like a former president running for office, should receive equal protection.

Blackburn also criticized the Democratic Party for disenfranchising the millions of voters who supported Biden. She claimed that the Democrats decided Biden couldn't win and sidelined him accordingly.

The discussion included "The Kids Online Safety Act," with Blackburn explaining her efforts to implement age limits and protections for children on the internet to mitigate negative influences.
