The Democrat Party funds pale in comparison to Republicans after failed 2024 election bid. And they are still paying for the failed Kamala Harris presidential campaign where she spent $1.5 billion in 107 days. As it turns out, she spent another $15 million that needed to be paid of by the DNC.
The Democrats are trailing Republicans in campaign finances after spending more than $15m (£11m) this year paying off Kamala Harris’s outstanding campaign fees.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) had $15m (£11m) on hand at the end of June compared to the Republican National Committee’s $80m (£60m).
The Harris campaign spent $1.5bn (£1.1bn) in 15 weeks and her failed bid ended with around $20m (£15m) in unpaid expenses, sources told Politico.
