A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in Southbridge, Massachusetts, when 12-year-old Arya Lebeau died after falling from a third-story window during a sleepover at a friend's house. Arya's mother, Charlene Cabrera, is seeking answers about how her daughter fell on Saturday (May 24). She mentioned that there might have been an argument between Arya and her friend before the accident.
“I was told it was a kick and she fell out the window,” Charlene told WCVB.
The Worcester County District Attorney's Office is investigating the incident as an unattended death. A memorial with flowers, candles, and balloons now marks the spot where Arya fell, as the community mourns her loss.
Arya's mother described her daughter as having a "loud personality" and being "so beautiful." Arya aspired to be a model and loved dancing, makeup, and hairstyling. Charlene Cabrera expressed gratitude for the community's support and is planning a funeral while hoping for closure.
The medical examiner is conducting an autopsy, and the investigation into Arya's death continues.
