Strong Gusts Expected To Boost Wildfires In Southern California

Extremely dangerous fire conditions exist in Southern California.  Los Angeles County Fire Chief Daryl Osby says wind gusts could reach 80 miles an hour, fanning the flames that are burning thousands of acres in the region.  Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said Wednesday that the Creek and Skirball fires are both 5% contained, and evacuees won't be allowed to return to their homes.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell urged people to be ready to evacuate.
