Mountwood's Volcano Days will take place on September 25-27, 2026. Volcano Days commemorates Volcano, the oil boomtown that burned down in 1879 that at one time filled the valley with industry. Come enjoy one of a kind antique engine displays from the Wood County Flywheelers, historical lectures, wood mizer, corn meal grinding and blacksmithing demonstrations plus a large assortment of craft and antiques vendors highlighted by some amazing local food trucks. Mountwood Park Visitor’s Center and museum will also have some new historical displays from the dedicated volunteers with The Friends of Mountwood Park.
