The holiday season is coming to Grand Central Mall like never before. On the day after Thanksgiving, shoppers will want to get up before sunrise. The mall will open at 6 AM on Friday, November 28. The first 200 people in line at the Food Court entrance will get SWAG bags filled with special deals, giveaways and a sweet treat: A chocolate bar with a surprise. Each chocolate bar will have a number on the wrapper, which may be redeemed for a prize.
The day after Thanksgiving, also known as “Black Friday”, is traditionally a time when retailers offer special sales and discounts. Early morning visitors to Grand Central Mall should expect to find some great deals along with a festive atmosphere. Of course, Santa Claus will be on hand to hear children’s Christmas wishes every day through Christmas Eve.
Black Friday will also usher in special extended hours for the holiday season. For example, on November 28 the mall will be open until 9 PM. See the attached calendar for a complete schedule of business hours. It is important to note the mall will open most days at 10 AM. After the holidays, this new, earlier time, 10 AM, will continue to be the standard opening time for the mall. Other exciting new changes will be announced in early 2026.
